Hi! Thanks for visiting my blog. I am a medical student living in Indianapolis, IN with my wonderful husband and faithful taste-tester Ben. I don’t have much free time, but when I do I love to spend it in the kitchen cooking and baking up delicious treats for my friends and family, the most important people in my life.
Such a CUTE picture!!
I love the new layout, especially the larger image size permitted for your yummy foods.
Hi Annie — I love your blog. Your are obviously VERY talented and VERY smart. Congratulations on med school — don’t know where you find the time to do it all !!! YOur photography is fabulous and I’m sure your finished product tastes as good as it looks !!!!
I, too, lost the love of my life to cancer — my sweet husband of 10 years died at age 50 after 10 weeks of colon cancer. But my new stepson is a resident in pediatric oncology — he actually interviewed for a fellowship in Indie! And he and his med student-fiance’ LOVE to cook too — it has been lots of fun. Life goes around . . . . . Here’s to many, many more years of baking and cooking !!!
I got a warm feeling inside when I read that you were attending medical school in your Livestrong cupcake post. I’ve never had cancer, but I do know what it’s like to be frustrated and sick. I think it’s more than wonderful that you’re going to be a doctor; I know your patients will love you! Having an empathetic doctor who really cares and understands their patient’s suffering is a real blessing to come by! I wish you nothing but the best!
